Flavors of voluptuous fruit with floral notes on the nose. Aged 22 months in 60 percent new French oak, this wine offers generous black fruit flavors against plush tannins, allowing it to age gracefully for the next decade.

The 2016 John C. Sullenger Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful core of plum and black cherry fruits, earth and tea with a rich middle palate. John C. Sullenger Vineyard is situated behind our winery in the heart of Oakville.

This wine is differentiated by its richness, with concentrated black fruit and excellent balance. With breadth and structure complemented by a supple, velvety mouthfeel, it offers the best the region has to offer in one satisfying blend.

This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah and Zinfandel. Elevated Howell Mountain flavors of black fruit, black pepper and cloves. Aging for 24 months in French oak barrels. 100% estate grown and bottles.

The block adjacent to our Chardonnay happened to be the unique Muscat clone I sought to blend for the perfect Chardonnay. We also couldn't have predicted that in just 14 days, those same hills would be surrounded by fire.

Each year we begin with our exceptionally rugged, complex Merlot and add the best grapes we can find from a single vineyard in Napa Valley to create Ibex - a powerful, graceful and beautiful beast.

Small amounts of Merlot and Petit Verdot were added to the final blend to create a wine that has highly concentrated black fruit flavors, with a hint of mocha. The wine has velvety tannins and a deep, complex finish.

2017 Stanly Ranch Estate Pinot Noir, grown on Dijon Clone 667 and whole berry fermented with native yeast in an open-top fermenter. This unique wine is aged 20 months in new French oak, racked twice.

This utterly delicious Cabernet Sauvignon block shows to best advantage our volcanic rocky Howell Mountain soils by expressing finely developed, complex black fruit (black cherry, cassis and licorice) components .

Power and grace: two words to describe the Old Vines vineyard year after year, expressing our most prized Pinot noir block. You get tastes of savory, mineral, blue and black fruit. It’s grounded and wise with years of experience and balance in her roots.

Each Chardonnay was fermented in Burgundian cooperage 500L puncheons with a judicious amount of new oak. After hours of blending, these trusted friends toasted the creation of a Chardonnay that even landlord Mr. Roper would enjoy.

This wine is a “field blend” of Pommard, Wädenswil, and 115 clones.  The wine is an opulent, red-fruit-driven Pinot noir with ripe Bing and Rainier cherry overtones complemented by a hint of cola on the finish.

Flavors of cherries, plum and wild raspberries dance on the palate, while spice and mineral overtones round and a deft touch of oak impart a delicious toast and note of sweet vanilla. This cuvée is nicely balanced.

Since our philosophy on oak has been to use it as a seasoning agent and not a weapon, this wine is aged in 2-to 3-year barrels. Toothsome dark fruit and a silky, voluptuous mouthfeel are shepherded into the divine concoction.

Growing just a short tractor ride from the winery, our Pinot noir is hand-picked at the peak of ripeness. Nestled in Dundee Hills, a few blocks stand out from the others for their intensity, balance and complexity.
